‘The Lightkeepers’ official website gets a new look

The Lightkeepers official website has a new look with more information on the film.  They now have a synopsis, trailer, cast (Tom Wisdom has yet to be added), and downloads area where there are movie images and posters.

Contrary to IMDB.com, The Lightkeepers is set to release in limited areas nationwide on March 19, 2010.

As of right now, it will be released at the following cinemas:

• AMC Arrowhead 14, Glendale, AZ
• Harkins Shea 14, Scottsdale, AZ
• AMC Veterans 24, Tampa, FL
• Boynton Cinema, Boynton Beach, FL

Tom Wisdom is third most famous person born in Swindon, UK

Swindon, UK – A city located west of London, has produced a number of famous people, one being Tom Wisdom.  The Swindon Advertiser has reported a list of thirty-seven celebrity Swindonians that hail from the city.  Tom comes in at the number three spot, just behind Billie Piper (Dr. Who) and Nicholas Bishop (Home and Away, Above the Law).

Tom was born into a military family with his father serving in the Royal Air Force.  He, his parents, older brother, and younger sister moved around quite a bit and grew up on air bases in Swindon, Doncaster, and Devon.  In a 2007 podcast interview with Matt Hollick, Tom was asked if he ever considered enlisting in the RAF, to which he replied that he never did because he wasn’t too keen on authority!  Our kind of rebel, right?

BIFF opens with ‘The Lightkeepers’

Boulder, CO - Around 500 people attended the opening night gala of the Boulder International Film Festival last night (Feb. 11) and were able to watch The Lightkeepers, which was chosen as the opening night film.  A wide variety of attendees included filmmakers, celebrities, movie buffs, and locals – some dressed up and some opting for comfort in jeans and sneakers.

Blythe Danner, Daniel Adams, and Straw Weisman were on hand for a Q&A session after the screening.  Danner, who is a leading love interest in the film stated about the film and her character:
