The creator of the site had gone to see 300 when it was released on March 9, 2007 and this lad that played Astinos instantly got her attention. When she got home, she looked up his name and didn’t find much on him except that he is much older than she assumed him to be! She rented some of Tom’s previous work and saw that this guy had some great talent – every character he played was believable and he could be dramatic, the bad guy, the innocent character, and a warrior to name a few. By late April 2007 she had seen almost all of his work (the only exceptions were films that she couldn’t find on DVD). She could not believe that he was not more well known in the acting ‘community’ – so, she decided to start a website where other fans could go for information. With help from the creator of GerardButler.net, this site was created within the matter of days. Over time, creative juices flow and the site has become something that the staff here take pride in. Tom is aware of the site, however we do not know if he visits it. Because of that, the staff strives to: We focus mostly on his career, but of course we have some bio information for his fans. Any personal info we have is based on what is already public knowledge from past interviews. He generously took the time to answer some questions submitted by fans that you can read in the Exclusive Q & A’s section. We will never post or entertain gossip.
